Taylors Lakes Kindergarten

At Taylors Lakes Kindergarten we recognise the importance of your child’s early years. To reflect this, we've created a stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages self-confidence, imagination, and respect for others and the natural environment. We place a strong emphasis on understanding and embracing the diverse backgrounds of the families within our kindergarten. Cultural learning and celebrations are incorporated into our programs.

As a community-based kindergarten, we celebrate diversity and encourage understanding of the diverse backgrounds of the families within our preschool.

We offer a play-based learning program for four-year-olds. Our curriculum embraces the Early Years Learning Framework and is based on children’s strengths and interests. Our learning programs are flexible and adaptable to change based on the children’s ideas and needs. This allows children to help guide the nature and direction of their learning experience. We believe this kind of environment inspires creativity, expression and resourcefulness, which helps children to reach their potential.

We recognise families as a child’s primary educators and role models and encourage their input into their child’s learning journey. Our educators are on hand to provide families with access to documentation about their child’s progress, via portfolios, displays of their work and learning journals.

We recognise the importance of physical activity, which is why and our outdoor space is well equipped with a large recently upgraded outdoor area featuring fixed and rotational play equipment, a sandpit and safety rubber.
