Our stand-alone centre has been serving the community for over 40 years. At St Albans West Preschool our experienced and qualified early childhood educators develop and implement a high quality program that is based on children’s strengths, needs and interests. Our programs provide children with the opportunity to grow and develop through play - the way children learn best. We ensure children develop in a warm, happy, safe and caring environment that caters for all children’s needs.

Our educators offer activities that are based on a variety of curriculum areas with the aim of inspiring children to achieve their full learning potential.

We have created a centre that reflects children’s cultural identity and recognises each child as an individual with unique talents. Our professionally trained educators strive to assist each child to develop a positive self-image, which enables effective learning, and to develop positive social attitudes. As a community-based kindergarten this is very important to us. We want to promote a kindergarten that respects diversity. Most importantly we want children to enjoy kindergarten!
