Kings Park Kindergarten

At Kings Park Kindergarten we aim to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where your child can discover and realise their potential. Our professionally trained educators will assist your child to develop a positive self-image, which enables effective learning, and to develop positive social attitudes. As a community-based kindergarten, we respect and celebrate diversity.

Most importantly we want your child to enjoy our kindergarten!

Our educators provide a rich and imaginative educational curriculum where your child will be given every opportunity to grow and develop through play – the way children learn best. We provide educational programs designed to meet each child's individual needs and developmental. These include painting, cooking, sewing, drawing, pasting, blocks, drama, science discovery and sensory exploration.

We place great value on our close relationships with the families within our kindergarten community. We have communication books where we encourage you to write comments and plan experiences for your child relating to the information provided. Our educators will give feedback to you about how your contributions were incorporated into the program.

Kings Park Kindergarten has been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standard. Information about the National Quality Standard.

Facilities and programs

We recognise the importance of outdoor activities that promote gross motor development, imagination and cooperation. Your child will work with many mediums including sand, soil, rocks and tanbark. We plan activities where your child can run, play ball, climb, swing and explore. There are endless opportunities for adventure!

We have a popular program in partnership with Kings Park Primary School where they help us to develop our new vegetable garden. Your child can experience the benefits of sustainable living firsthand by eating fresh veggies straight from our garden! We also have a water tank so your child will have access to water (for play or to water plants) as they wish.

We have wheelchair access to the centre and the outside play space.
