About us

Mirniyan Primary School Kindergarten (pronounced mern-ee-yan), meaning moon, reflects a strong sense of connection, belonging, and wonder within our learning community.

Located on the site of Mirniyan Primary School, our spacious four-room kindergarten provides families with a modern and engaging early years facility designed to support children to learn, grow, and thrive. With two kindergarten rooms located on the ground floor and two on the upper level, thoughtfully designed spaces create opportunities for collaboration, exploration, and meaningful play-based learning experiences.

We offer dynamic three- and four-year-old kindergarten programs that foster curiosity, creativity, confidence, and independence in a nurturing and safe environment. Guided by the ECMS philosophy, our educators create responsive learning experiences that encourage children to investigate, imagine, problem-solve, and build strong relationships with others.

Our indoor and outdoor learning environments are carefully designed to inspire discovery and support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play. As part of a school community, children and families also benefit from opportunities to build familiarity and connection within the broader educational setting.

At Mirniyan Primary School Kindergarten, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to shine.

Mirniyan Primary School Kindergarten will be transitioning to operate as part of the ECMS family in late 2026. Please register your interest with the City of Casey by clicking on the Enrol Now button.

ECMS acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands on which we live, learn, work and play. Aboriginal people have a long tradition of teaching and learning through sharing their connections with country, community, language and culture. We recognise their continuing connection to the country, and we pay respects to elders past and present.
