About us

Balambalam Primary School Kindergarten (pronounced BUH-lum-BUH-lum), meaning butterfly, reflects the journey of growth, transformation, and connection within our learning community. Just as a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, the name Balambalam symbolises the ongoing evolution of children, families, and the wider community as they learn and grow together.

Located on the site of Balambalam Primary School, our brand-new two-room kindergarten offers a welcoming and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn through play.

Our lively three- and four-year-old kindergarten programs nurture curiosity, creativity, confidence, and independence through meaningful play-based learning experiences. Thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces encourage exploration, imagination, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging within the community.

At Balambalam Primary School Kindergarten, we are committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can grow, flourish, and thrive.

Balambalam Primary School Kindergarten will be transitioning to operate as part of the ECMS family in late 2026. Please register your interest with the City of Casey by clicking on the Enrol Now button.

ECMS acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands on which we live, learn, work and play. Aboriginal people have a long tradition of teaching and learning through sharing their connections with country, community, language and culture. We recognise their continuing connection to the country, and we pay respects to elders past and present.
