25 June 2015

Welcome to the Term 2 holidays!

Looking for ways to entertain the family over the school holidays? There's so much happening in and around Melbourne, including plenty of free and low cost children's activities. Here are some ideas…

Baby Bounce - State Library (free)
Join in fun with stories, songs and rhymes, designed for children two and under to explore language.

Christmas in July – Sovereign Hill (under 5’s free)
Sovereign Hill will be magnificently illuminated in fairy tale projection until July 12.

Collingwood Children’s Farm ($5 for children)
Get an up close experience with real farm animals. Cow milking is on every day at 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Kids dance classes – Prahran Market (free)
Parents can join in with their children for a 30 minute dance class every Friday!

Pot luck craft day – City Library (free)
Bring a bag of unused objects (paper rolls, bottle tops, scraps of material) and swap and share materials to build something truly amazing.
