Doncaster Park Kindergarten celebrates 50 years of serving its local community

On Saturday 16 May Doncaster Park Kindergarten celebrated its 50th birthday. Educators were joined by families, both past and present, as well as prospective families visiting for the open day.

The Council Mayor joined in the celebrations and officially opened the kinder’s fantastic new outdoor play area.

Entertainment was abundant and included wildlife animals, face painting, a magic show and a jumping castle. Many of the children decorated a clay tile which will contribute to a plaque display at the kinder.

The cake stall, sausage sizzle and raffle tickets raised almost $1,500 for the kindergarten.

Congratulations to the subcommittee for organising the successful event and to all parents who assisted with preparations and on the day.
