ECMS Announces Andrew Hume as New Acting CEO

ECMS is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Hume as its new Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
 
Andrew has extensive executive leadership experience and a demonstrated high level of commercial acumen having managed large growth programs, and complex partnering and stakeholder relationships.

I look forward to ensuring ECMS has a sustainable business model that fosters longevity and addresses the diverse needs of children, their families and the broader community,” Andrew said.
 
He has a wide-ranging background in corporate, community and not-for-profit organisations with substantial knowledge of the sector. Andrew spent the last 7 years in the role of CEO at Gowrie Victoria and under his leadership transformed the organisation into a sustainable social enterprise with a significant financial and cultural turnaround. 
 
Prior to Gowrie Victoria, Andrew was the Chief Operating Officer at Goodstart Early Learning. He also has representation on a variety of early childhood committees and advisory groups.
 
Outside of the sector, his background includes general management roles in operations, property and mergers and acquisitions. He has also worked extensively across international markets in Europe and Asia.
 
Andrew will commence the Acting CEO role on 9 June 2020.
