An update on ECMS family day care

Following a recent review of our service models in line with our new Strategic Plan – Expect Great Things, ECMS has decided to cease providing family day care at the end of 2016.

Our new strategic plan focuses on strengthening our service reach to infants and young children through high quality, centre-based early learning and care service provision. We believe centre-based services maximise our opportunity to engage and develop our growing, professional workforce while providing children and families with direct access to ‘wrap-around’ services that optimise health, wellbeing and developmental outcomes.

Give your child the best start in their education with ECMS’ centre-based early learning

ECMS operates almost 80 high-quality kindergartens, early learning centres (child care) and 3+ activity groups across Melbourne. All our early learning programs are designed to give each child the best start to their educational journey.

What if family day care is still my preference?

ECMS supports other early years management services that coordinate family day care. If your family is still interested in family day care and would like to find your nearest provider we encourage you to:

What's next for ECMS family day care?

ECMS is providing day-to-day support to each educator as they transition to a new family day care provider by the end of 2016.

We are also working closely with our educators to ensure current families continue to receive a high-quality experience during this period of change.
