ECMS celebrates Children's Week

ECMS once again celebrated Children’s Week and Universal Children’s Day through a number of activities in Melbourne.
On Wednesday 22nd October over 2,800 children, parents and carers came together to celebrate Universal Children’s Day by romping and stomping down to Melbourne Museum between 10am and 3pm for Romp and Stomp Fun Day for Children.
Romp and Stomp Fun Day for Children has been organised to highlight the value of education, experiences and diversity in early childhood development. A group of not for profit early childhood organisations including ECMS, Playgroup Victoria, KPV, Lady Gowrie, SunSmart, Toy Libraries, Parks Victoria with Museum Victoria come together each year to develop this day to celebrate children and families, and to highlight the importance of early childhood.
Romp and Stomp Fun Day for Children is designed for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years who engage in a umber of activities designed to emphasise the different aspects of early childhood learning.
ECMS also supported the 7th World’s Greatest Pram Stroll on Sunday 19th October. This event was held in 28 locations around the country with over 2,000 families getting out to enjoy the opportunity to support new mums and meet some new people.
