What is family day care?
The ECMS Family Day Care Scheme is a unique home based childcare service providing quality childcare in the homes of our caring and professional care providers. With its warm home like environments, ECMS Family Day Care provides flexible childcare and caters to the individual needs of children and their families. We acknowledge that all children have the right to grow and develop in a warm, safe and secure environment.
About the Carers
Carers choose to be a Family Day Care provider as it allows them the flexibility
to meet the needs of their own family. Many of our carers have children of
their own and are experienced with children.
Care providers have access to training within the childcare industry to assist
in fostering learning and development within a secure, safe and stimulating
home environment, reflecting community diversity.
ECMS Family Day Care fieldworkers support and guide our care providers in developing
play environments that promote children's independence, self esteem, creativity
skills as well as extending their social, physical, emotional and intellectual
development.
ECMS Family Day Care fieldworkers conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations
to ensure a high quality standard of care is met at all times, incorporating
the changing needs of the families, carers and the community.

When enrolling in the ECMS Family Day Care Scheme you can expect quality children's programs and a family friendly environment. The carers' homes are set up to allow for easy transition, that is both positive and fun.
