The position is 25 hours per week (15 hours contact and 10 hours non contact prep time).

The successful applicant will:

- have successfully completed the Diploma of Children's Services;

- have experience in childcare and/or early childhood development;

- be able to provide effective and efficient management, leadership and guidance for a team of childcare professionals;

- be able to plan organise and manage the day to day activities of the centre including (but not limited to) health and safety, records and statistics maintenance, report preparation, performance management and staff professional development;

- be able to communicate and interact with children, with parents in regard to the needs and development of their children and with the Watts Street team;

- be able to present a current First Aid Level 2 certificate and a Working With Children Check.
