Beyond Tomorrow – the 2011 ECMS Conference

More than 500 ECMS staff and industry peers and partners convened at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 16 for an incredible day of sharing, celebration and learning at Beyond Tomorrow – the 2011 ECMS Conference.

Beyond Tomorrow attendees enjoy the extensive trade fair

Beyond Tomorrow’s Keynote Speaker Anh Do’s hilarious and inspirational address was a highlight of the day, helping to reignite the childlike spark in the eye of all attendees.

An engaging line-up of speakers including Maggie Dent, Joy Lubawy and Catharine Hydon examined the various forms of leadership within the early childhood sector and the imminent move to the National Quality Framework.

Beyond Tomorrow provided an excellent forum for attendees to share ideas and insights into the many changes currently taking place in the early childhood development sector. A range of facilitated Open Sessions were introduced into this year’s conference program to enable interaction between expert panellists and Beyond Tomorrow attendees.

Attendees also had the opportunity to visit a diverse range of exhibitors at Beyond Tomorrow’s extensive trade fair and new enticing Health and Wellbeing Feature Area.

Beyond Tomorrow was a memorable day, equipping early childhood professionals with important tools to continue to develop their skills into the future.
