We believe that:

• Each family is unique.


• Children should be actively involved in their own learning, through “hands-on” experiences.


• Children are much more receptive to learning when experiences encourage their own exploration and involve their own interests. Through this play based programming children’s innate eagerness, curiosity and desire to learn is fostered.


• The environment should be nurturing, safe, supportive and stimulating, where children are encouraged to reach their full potential.


• Every child is a unique individual who has his or hers own needs and interests. It is our responsibility as teachers to cater for the Social, Emotional, physical and Intellectual development of each individual and the group as a whole.

Our beliefs underpin the following actions:

• To help foster independent, self confident, inquisitive learners who are not afraid to try out new ideas and think their own thoughts.


• To foster all developmental areas.


• To provide activities and learning experiences that are play based and planned around children’s individual developmental level and interests.

The playground at our kindergarten was recently updated. New shades and sails protect the children from the sun while playing outside. The lawn has been updated and the new trickle stream is a big excitement for every little explorer.
