• A play based approach where experiences afford both challenge and success promotes an individual child’s: social, emotional, physical, cognitive and language development.


• Kindergarten should be a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop relationships with others, explore the world around them, ask questions and express their evolving understandings in a range of mediums.


• Kindergarten should be fun!

To achieve this we:

• Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment based on children’s interests and needs.


• Promote a child’s eagerness for experience and an independence of thought.


• Develop respect in the child for themselves, others and the world.


• Evolve our programme based on ongoing observation of the children and their needs. Provide a range and choice of mediums through which children can learn.


• Promote independence and feelings of confidence and adequacy.
