How families can participate

Parents are encouraged to participate in a number of ways.

Parents can be on the committee of management. The committee meet once a month at the kindergarten and discuss everything from the educational plan the children have been involved in for the month to fundraising activities. The committee is made up of a few main roles and general members.

Parents can also participate in the general day to day running of the program by coming into the kindergarten and helping implement the activities planned by the teacher.

At our kindergarten we are in the process of establishing a vegetable garden and a general garden. Parents can help children with planting and watering the plants.
