How families can participate at Eastona

Families play a vital role in the day to day running of the kindergarten.

Family members are warmly invited to be involved in the kindergarten in a wide range of ways:

• spending time with the children during our sessions, assisting with the daily program;


• sharing skills (eg cooking, craft, story telling, sporting activities, translating information);


• contributing ideas for the program;


• sharing information about your child to assist with their individual program;


• attending and assisting with special kindergarten events (eg family welcome BBQ night, morning teas, incursions, excursions);


• being a part of the Parent Advisory Group;


• assisting with fundraising and social events;


• helping with maintenance and gardening;


• or however else you feel you may be able to be involved!
