Parental involvement at Caulfield

Our Kindergarten welcomes families to become actively involved in their children’s Kindergarten experience. Children love to share their Kindergarten life with family members and friends and there are a number of ways to become involved in the Kindergarten throughout the year.

1. Activities roster – Your help is needed each term to assist in the implementation of the program. This involves working with the children at activities and assisting with the preparation of morning and afternoon fruit snack.


2. Working Bees. A working bee is usually held once each term. Working bees are required to maintain the Kindergarten building and the outside environment. Your assistance in this area is vital to update and secure a safe environment for your child.


3. Social and fundraising activities. Social and fundraising activities are an important part of the Kindergarten experience. The Kindergarten needs to raise money each year to enable the Kindergarten to run efficiently and to maintain and update equipment and resources. It also allows for a greater sense of community when people get to know each other through our social events.
