Becoming an ECMS carer

To become a care provider the following must be successfully completed:

Interview with the Coordinator and a Field Officer
WWCC for anyone residing in their home who is 17 years and over
Asthma Management
Anaphylaxis Management
Administration of Auto Injection device
Minimum qualification of Certificate 3 in Children’s Services
Home safety check
First aid certificate
Car restraints check at an approved fitting station
Obtaining and maintaining Public Liability Insurance
Care providers must maintain these standards at all times and complete registration annually.
