Becoming an ECMS carer
To become a care provider the following must be successfully completed:
- Interview with the Coordinator and a Field Officer
- WWCC for anyone residing in their home who is 17 years and over
- Asthma Management
- Anaphylaxis Management
- Administration of Auto Injection device
- Minimum qualification of Certificate 3 in Children’s Services
- Home safety check
- First aid certificate
- Car restraints check at an approved fitting station
- Obtaining and maintaining Public Liability Insurance
- Care providers must maintain these standards at all times and complete registration annually.
