Our Programs

At St Vincent’s early Learning Centre we offer individualised programs for the children, which cater for both indoors and outdoors.

Within our program:

• each child has their our Portfolio documenting your child’s journey at childcare and kindergarten


• Each room has a reflective journal where we document and display what the children have been participating in over the week.


• Each group participates in a music and movement program weekly


• Our kinder groups participate in many incursions and excursions over the year which is integrated into what they are learning within the program


• Independence is fostered through self help skills and encouragement

Our Staff

• The centre has eight groups from birth to 6 years.
  Lilly and Buttercup room – birth to 12 months. (2 diploma qualified staff and 4 Certificate III childcare assistants)


• Daisy and Tulip room – 12 months to 2 years
  2 diploma qualified staff and 4 Certificate III childcare assistants


• Blossom and Sunshine room – 2 years to 3.5 years
  2 diploma qualified staff and 4 Certificate III childcare assistants


• Carnation room – 3 to 4 years
  1 qualified staff and 1 childcare assistant


• Kinder room – 4 to 5 years
  1 kindergarten teacher, 1 diploma qualified and 1 Certificate III childcare assistant


• Administration
  Centre Coordinator, assistant Coordinator and accounts assistant

The centre requires staff to have the following qualifications:

• Certificate III – as a minimum


• Level 2 First Aid certificate


• Anaphylaxis certificate


• Asthma Training


• Working with Children Check


• Current Police Check
