What parents have to say about QV

  • I have nothing but admiration for the staff at QV. They are incredibly warm and friendly and have an excellent rapport with the children.

  • The centre is clean and bright, it has many good toys, caring staff and overall a very positive atmosphere.

  • Staff are terrific, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, interested in my child. This is a notable contrast to my previous centre.

  • Staff at QV are very approachable and friendly. They are great at settling children when they are upset at parents leaving. The activities really assist with their development.

  • I've been delighted with QV. My children have really enjoyed attending the centre. The activities really assist with their development.

  • I didn’t even know centers like this even existed. I was so worried about putting my baby in care but they have proven to be a genuine support beyond my expectations. They always do more than their required.

  • QV has great facilities, especially the outdoor section where the children get to play more than once a day. I would recommend the centre to others and I think it is priced well. For us the convenience of the location and facilities make my child happy and she enjoys going there. Since attending she has grown up heaps and enjoys the interaction with the carers and other children. Thank you to all the staff at QV for making childcare a friendly and welcoming place where both us (as parents) and my child finds the environment very relaxing. Thanks. Doing a great job keep it up.

  • The staff at QV are very friendly and caring towards both the child and the parent. Staff are also great at remembering names and making you feel very welcome.

And from one mum, who was so pleased with us that she wrote to us after moving to another centre:

As a first time new mum looking to re-enter the workforce, I found the staff, processes and facilities of QV childcare made my transition back into the workplace easy. Now that I have moved to a local centre closer to home, I can see how the QV childcare’s structure and processes really facilitated the transition back to work for me and into childcare for my little one.

The orientation pack was thorough and contained the structure I required, from how to say good-bye to your little one to what to pack in their childcare bag. I appreciated the communication book as it provided a channel for two-way dialogue when sometimes the chaos of dropping off and picking up overtakes the moment and you forget to ask about particular things. I really liked the daily running sheets that were pasted in to the communication books – especially as my child was so young, I could see that they had rice/orange/pumpkin mash, drank/didn’t drink all her bottle, etc., times she slept, her general disposition and activities for the day.

I liked the ease and regularity of the invoicing and payment system (I used direct debit). If there were ever any discrepancies I was always made aware by a quick phone call of what was happening. There was also clarity up front about payment methods available, how the bond worked and when it would be returned.

The notices placed around the doors and lift waiting area also kept me informed of what was happening, eg. carers on maternity leave, new staff, etc. which is really good when you’re leaving you’re precious loved one in the trust of a team of staff, most of whom you have not met.

I also like the flexibility of the centre, I could come in to feed my child at lunchtime or if I had a late or early meeting, the centre was open.

I could write on further, but I hope this gives you a feel for the positive experience I had at your centre!
