About us:

Mossfiel Children's Centre is a well-established 50 place childcare centre. Mossfiel CC has been in the community for 20 years. We have a highly dedicated team of professional early years staff, delivering high quality care to the children and families in our community.

Our four rooms offer an exciting indoor and outdoor educational program for children to play, learn and grow. This provides children with the opportunity to explore and participate in experiences which reflect individual children's interests and developmental needs.

Our program provides all children with an opportunity to extend their learning through play.

Our Programs:

All room programs run an indoor outdoor program which gives children the opportunity to be challenged and to explore the centre environment. Our outdoor play areas provide children with access to a natural environment, giving them the opportunity to explore our digging patches and help maintain and grow our gardens and vegetables. Our programs are based on children’s interests and we extend on this throughout our activities by observations, documentation and collaboration with families. All children have their own journal which is updated regularly with their photos, observations and art work. These journals are sent home at the end of the year with each child. All rooms also display a room journal which evaluates the time in the room through photos and write-ups.

The service is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm.
